This is an old one! Not exactly sure how old it is, but it's old!
Reel is in useable shape except needs a clicker spring. We have not
cleaned up this reel in any way for fear of removing any of the old
patina from it.
Spool only has a minor swoop to it (not enough to make it rub) and
turns freely on the spindle. Handle knobs are not wobbly or loose and
spin freely on the posts, and the spool brake functions properly too.
Reel foot is of the oooold variety, being 3 1/2" in length and heavily ribbed on the one side.
This is a collectors peice for sure....it's possible to fish it but
I think it's better suited to the fireplace mantle or showroom.
